| * calculated for a spectral absorbance of 1/m at 254 nm. Germ inactivation rates of 99.99% can be attained. |
The elimination of germs in water, chemical solutions, and storage tanks without chemicals. The first UV germ inactivation system with both sterilization effect in the liquid and gas phases. |
UV Disinfection:
Standard UV lamps which are placed in the tank have no effect against germ entry from above and a considerable part of the irradiated energy is wasted due to shadow areas caused by the lamp design.
How it works:
We treat waste water and concentrates from electroless nickel plating processes, with and without ammonia, where nickel, phosphorous, COD and ammonia are treated to meet environmental discharge limits. |
Microfloat® disinfects the entire chamber (both fluid and gas) and creates an effective barrier against biological agents |
Microfloat® can be installed easily in most vessels and is very simple to operate, just plug it in and it goes to work. Microfloat® is very economical to operate for all tanks with static or varying liquid levels.
Do you have large tanks or tanks with a high liquid throughput?
Combining Microfloat® with a Microlight® Basic flow-through disinfection reactor is the most economical solution. |

e.g. use of Microfloat® climate systems
(Scrubber and humidifier).
e.g. use of Microfloat® in cooling tower. |
Also suitable for larger containers by linking several systems. |
